Dramatic Nature

In this tutorial you will learn how to make the nature or landscapes DRAMATIC.

1. You have the following image of nature or landscape, whatever you want to say (Fig.1).

2. Go to Create new fill or adjustment layer-Color Balance as shown in (Fig.2). After clicking on Color Balance a new layer will be added named Color Balance 1 & Color Balance palette will open (Fig.3).

3. Now Color Balance palette is opened, now click on Shadows and fill the details as follows (Fig.4). After filling the details as shown in (Fig.4) do not close the palette as we have to use the same palette two more times.

4. Now click on Midtones and fill the details as shown in (Fig.5).

5. Now click on Highlights and fill the details as shown in (Fig.6). Now you can click ok & close the palette.

6. Now you will see that the atmosphere in the image is changed, your desired result will look like (Fig.7).

7. Now go to Create new fill or adjustment layer-Curves as shown in (Fig.8). After clicking on Curves a new layer will be added named Curves 1 & Curves palette will open (Fig.9).

8. Now Curves palette is opened, now select Channel as RGB in Curves palette and make the details as follows (Fig.10). After making the details as shown in (Fig.10) do not close the palette as we have to use the same palette three more times.

9. Now select Channel as Red in Curves palette and make the details as shown in (Fig.11).

10. Now select Channel as Green in Curves palette and make the details as shown in (Fig.12) and then select Channel as Blue in Curves palette and make the details as shown in (Fig.13). Now you can click ok & close the palette.

11. Now you will see that the atmosphere in the image is changed and you will get your final result as shown in (Fig.14).
