Raster Graphics -
  • They are based upon Pixels.

  • Quality depends on PPI(Pixel per inch). For eg - A graphic having 72 PPI will have low quality output as compare to the graphic of 300 PPI.
  • Photoshop generates Raster Graphics.
Pixels - Pixels are very tiny square shape which contains color information of the image.
Resolution - It is PPI (pixel per inch) in an image in height & width of a graphic. All Bitmap/Raster images are measured in terms of quality in Resolution. By default Photoshop generates a new file of 72 PPI.
